Spring Bulb Planting in Tompkins Square Park
Join us for Spring bulb planting with daffodils donated by New Yorkers for Parks. Meet at the Field House between Avenue A and B.
This year marks The Daffodil Project’s 25th Anniversary.
New Yorkers for Parks’ Daffodil Project is the largest annual volunteer effort in NYC history, conceived as a living memorial to the victims of September 11. Since the Daffodil Project’s inception in 2002, over nine million daffodil bulbs have been distributed for free, planted by thousands of volunteers in the fall, and celebrated as some of the first flowers to bloom come spring.

City of Forest Day in Tompkins Square Park
Join New York Tree Time to plant small trees in our new Mini-Forest at Tompkins Square Park. Meet at the Field House between Avenue A and B.
Volunteers will help plant a variety of small trees in our newly installed grove of Birch trees. This planting is in collaboration with the Lower East Side Ecology Center, Friends of Tompkins Square Park, and made possible with support from the Arbor Day Foundation.
